Jingles
The presenter on the show sounded like the woman in the jingle with goes with the consistency of the station. A woman shouts ‘BANG RADIO!’ this is rather loud to gain the attention of all listeners, this is good as it grasps the attention of everyone meaning they all know the radio is back and changing section.

Presenter: Voice and Language
The presenter of ‘BANG RADIO’ is girl with a London accent meaning you can tell a bit more that this is based in London, this seems good as it seems consistent with the style, not just this but they way she speaks goes with it too, as it is for young people you do not expect it to be really formal and serious, she seems happy and informal and speaks in slang that young people will understand, for example when she wants people to call or text the show she said ‘hit us up’ and ‘drop us a call’ which is informal and it is slang. When she introduced a song she said ‘Egypt playin’ here live next’ which sounds very casual and informal for radio stations such as ‘Heart’.
Genre
The genre of BANG 103.6 is R&B, urban and Hip-Hop. This sort of music is associated with the younger generation as it is fast pace and the lyrics often relate to younger people instead of older people, also these genres are stereotypically linked to teenagers as you never hear older people listening to this.
Weather/News
The whole news section is really laid back and seems like it isn’t important, the presenter makes humour jokes about the rain. She mentions the weather is very little detail and just says it is raining in certain areas of London (as the radio station is from London) they don’t take the news seriously and go into little detail about it all. They don’t really mention the main news much in the section, just basic events that are happening in London, they might do this as they feel more young people listen and they don’t really want to be stuck listening to the news.
Interviews and Phone-ins
When I listened to ‘BANG’ there wasn’t an interview at this time.
Sound Effects/BitesTechno sounds are played after each song, as a transition. The whole radio station is filled with them as it’s hectic with fast paced music and excited, keep you concentrated. At one point they had sound clips of Artists saying hi, for example ‘check it out its Lemar how y’all doin’?’ and ‘hey it Alicia keys’ getting people excited for up-coming songs of the show.
